August 27, 2024: Cusseta, GA 31805 The Kendrick Cherokees volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Chattahoochee County Panthers to 0 in the Cherokees non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cherokees now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Upson-Lee for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 29. Kendrick will play a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Houston County (Warner Robins, GA). The Knights record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Chattahoochee County drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mitchell County (Camilla, GA) to play the Eagles in a 1A Area 1 outing on Thursday, August 29.
