August 27, 2024: Santa Maria, TX 78592 Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Santa Maria Cougars (Santa Maria, TX), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Valley View improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Highlands (San Antonio, TX) to face the Owls in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Cougars now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hidalgo for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Santa Maria will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-8.
