August 27, 2025: Independence, KY 41051 Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY), 18-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Simon Kenton improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Cooper (Union, KY) to play the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Cooper lost 21-0 in their recent non-league battle against Ryle (Union, KY)
