With the win, Murrieta Mesa improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams host Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA) to encounter the Thunderbirds in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. The Thunderbirds go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Yucaipa lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA)
The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Jacinto for a battle on Thursday, September 11.
