Bell Eagles (Bell, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), 13-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Bell improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Bernstein (Hollywood, CA) to play the Dragons in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. The Dragons go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Panthers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Palos Verdes for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Franklin will meet a Sea Kings squad coming off a 25-0 non-league win over Foshay (Los Angeles, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 6-1.
