August 27, 2025: Indianapolis, IN 46227 Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cathedral advances its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, August 30. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 2-2. Brownsburg lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN)
The Royals (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Franklin Community (Franklin, IN). The Grizzly Cubs come into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Franklin Community edged Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN), 8-0, in a league game.
