August 27, 2025: Catskill, NY 12414 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) and the host Catskill Cats (Catskill, NY), saw Saugerties's soccer squad knock off Catskill by a count of 2-0.
With the triumph, Saugerties moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sawyers travel to New Paltz (New Paltz, NY) to meet the Huguenots in a Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) match on Tuesday, September 2. The Huguenots come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Cats now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Hook for a non-league match on Friday, August 29.
