Michigan High School Football - Pioneer thwarted by Flushing
August 27, 2025: Flushing, MI 48433 Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI), 28-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Flushing improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Raiders host Zeeland East (Zeeland, MI) to meet the Chix in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Chix come into the test with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, Pioneer drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Bedford (Temperance, MI) to meet the Kicking Mules in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Kicking Mules come into the test with a record of 1-0. Bedford won 40-6 in their recent non-league test against Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI)
