North Carolina High School Football - Hobbton sneaks past Triton
August 27, 2025: Newton Grove, NC 28366 The Hobbton Wildcats football team scored 22 points and restricted the visiting Triton Hawks to 16 in the Wildcats non-league win on Wednesday.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Hobbton will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 35-3 non-league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC).
With the defeat, Triton drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to meet the Bengals in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Bengals come into the test with a record of 0-2. Fuquay - Varina lost 28-0 in their recent non-league test against Apex (Apex, NC)
