August 27, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27408 Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Grimsley moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Whirlies travel to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to clash with the Blue Comets in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Blue Comets come into the test with a record of 4-0. Asheboro won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
