North Carolina High School Soccer - Hibriten nudges Newton-Conover
August 27, 2025: Newton, NC 28658 In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Hibriten Panthers soccer team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Newton-Conover Red Devils.
With the triumph, Hibriten advances its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Brevard (Brevard, NC) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-2. Brevard 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Erwin (Asheville, NC)
The Red Devils now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Iredell for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Newton-Conover will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-2 non-league Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
