August 27, 2025: Lackawanna, NY 14218 The Lackawanna Steelers smashed the visiting Lewiston-Porter Lancers soccer team by a tally of 8-0 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next, the Steelers face the Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 28. Lackawanna will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
The Lancers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY). The Quakers come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Orchard Park was overwhelmed by Sweet Home (Amherst, NY), 3-2, in a non-league game.
