August 27, 2025: Edenton, NC 27932 The Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) volleyball held off the host Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hurricanes now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bear Grass Charter for a non-league match on Thursday, August 28. Pamlico County will battle a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Bears record now stands at 4-2.
The Aces (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Currituck County held off Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC), 2-0, in a non-league match.
