August 27, 2025: Fayetteville, GA 30215 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) and the visiting McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA), saw Starr's Mill's volleyball squad notch a victory over McIntosh by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Starr's Mill improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Brookstone (Columbus, GA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Brookstone won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Columbus (Columbus, GA)
Next, the Chiefs meet the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. McIntosh will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Golden Bears enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA).
