Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) and the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC), saw East Rowan's soccer squad triumph over Central Davidson by a count of 7-1.

The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 1-4 record.

The Spartans now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Jordan-Matthews for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 3. Central Davidson will meet a Jets team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Jets record now stands at 2-3.
