North Carolina High School Soccer - Concord trounced by Porter Ridge
August 27, 2025: Indian Trail, NC 28079 The Porter Ridge Pirates soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Concord Spiders to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mooresville for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 28. Porter Ridge will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Concord moves to 2-3 on the year. The Spiders host Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Sun Valley won 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Central Academy of Technology & Arts (Monroe, NC)
