Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting NCSSM: Morganton Dragons (Morganton, NC), saw Jackson Day's soccer squad hold off NCSSM: Morganton by a score of 2-1.

The Mariners (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles come into the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A test with a 0-2 record.
