In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Central Chargers softball team scored a nice 18-0 victory over the Westside Seminoles.

The Chargers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors enter the 1A D-I Region 2 game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Jefferson County was routed by Bleckley County (Cochran, GA), 8-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Seminoles battle the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) in a 2A Region 2 match, on Tuesday, September 2. Westside will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA).
