Georgia High School Softball - Wilcox County bested by Cook
August 27, 2025: Adel, GA 31620 The Cook Hornets routed the visiting Wilcox County Patriots softball team by a margin of 12-4 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Hornets now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Worth County for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. Cook will meet a Rams squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Cairo (Cairo, GA). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.
The Patriots (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Schley County (Ellaville, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record.
