Michigan High School Volleyball - Chippewa Valley tips Algonac
August 27, 2025: Clinton Township, MI 48038 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) and the visiting Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI), observed Chippewa Valley's volleyball team hold off Algonac by a count of 1-0.
The Big Reds (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Clair (St. Clair, MI). The Saints enter the Macomb Area - Blue battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, St. Clair was edged by Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Muskrats now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Huron for a non-league contest on Wednesday, August 27. Algonac will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 6-0.
