With the win, Churchill improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers host Stevenson (Livonia, MI) to encounter the Spartans in a Kensington Lakes - East battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 5-6.
Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI) in a Downriver contest, on Thursday, September 11. Edsel Ford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
