August 27, 2025: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) and the visiting Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL), observed Elk Grove's volleyball team top Fenton by a tally of 2-0.
The Grenadiers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Maine West was beaten by Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bison meet the Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. Fenton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL).
