The Crescenta Valley Falcons held off the host Crossroads Roadrunners volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Falcons now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckley for a non-league test on Saturday, August 28. Crescenta Valley will confront a Griffins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hoover (Glendale, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 4-0.

The Roadrunners (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors go into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Taft edged Valencia (Valencia, CA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
