The Foothill Falcons topped the host Newark Memorial Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Falcons now have a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dougherty Valley for a East Bay test on Tuesday, August 31. Foothill will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 league win over Granada (Livermore, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.

The Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Balboa (San Francisco, CA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Balboa was knocked off by Mercy (Burlingame, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
