August 28, 2023: Vienna, VA 22181 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) and the visiting Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), saw Oakton's volleyball squad beat Woodson by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Oakton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
The Cavaliers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. Woodson will play a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
