August 28, 2023: San Francisco, CA 94112 The Balboa Buccaneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Jefferson Grizzlies to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Monday.
The Buccaneers now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark Memorial for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Balboa will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
The Grizzlies (0-2) will now prepare for their game against South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA). The Warriors enter the Peninsula - Ocean game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, South San Francisco was dropped by Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
