August 28, 2023: Falls Church, VA 22043 The George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) volleyball tipped the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 3-2 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, George C. Marshall upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Statesmen travel to James Madison (Vienna, VA) to play the Warhawks in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 30. The Warhawks go into the outing with a record of 3-0. James Madison won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)
The Spartans now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host West Potomac for a Patriot outing on Thursday, August 31. West Springfield will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-0.
