California High School Volleyball - South Gate over Marquez
August 28, 2023: South Gate, CA 90280 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) and the visiting Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA), saw South Gate's volleyball squad beat Marquez by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, South Gate upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Rams host Wilson (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Mules in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Mules go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Wilson lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Torres (Los Angeles, CA)
The Gladiators now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Maywood CES for a Southern bout on Tuesday, September 12.
