Colorado High School Soccer - Weld Central toppled by Berthoud
August 28, 2024: Berthoud, CO 80513 Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Berthoud moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO) to clash with the Miners in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Miners come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Rebels now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Roosevelt for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Weld Central will clash with a Roughriders team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Roughriders record now stands at 0-1.
