With the triumph, Montrose moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Red Hawks travel to Rifle (Rifle, CO) to clash with the Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-0. Rifle won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Grand Valley (Parachute, CO)
