In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals.

The Cowboys (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Western Guilford was nudged by Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
