August 28, 2024: Palos Heights, IL 60463 Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Chicago Christian moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Macomb (Macomb, IL) to meet the Bombers in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Bombers come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenwood for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Evergreen Park will meet a Broncos team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Lindblom (Chicago, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 0-1.
