North Carolina High School Volleyball - Holmes over Albemarle School

August 28, 2024: Edenton, NC 27932

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) and the visiting Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), observed Holmes's volleyball team top Albemarle School by a count of 3-0.

The Aces (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins enter the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Manteo was knocked off by Perquimans (Hertford, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Colts battle the Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel Independent contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Albemarle School will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Terra Ceia Christian (Pantego, NC).
