In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Cardinal Newman Cardinals.

The Red Tailed Hawks (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory was beaten by Redwood (Larkspur, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 4. Cardinal Newman will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA).
