In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host DeSoto Central Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. George's Gryphons.

The Jaguars (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Southaven (Southaven, MS). The Chargers come into the Class 7A Region 1 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Southaven was beaten by Oxford (Oxford, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.
