August 28, 2025: Ortonville, MI 48462 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Brandon Blackhawks football squad scored a decisive 62-0 victory over the Flint Southwestern Academy Knights.
The Blackhawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Clare (Clare, MI). The Pioneers go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Clare walloped Grayling (Grayling, MI), 39-21, in a non-league battle.
The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Pinconning for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Flint Southwestern Academy will play a Spartans squad coming off a 42-27 non-league loss to Voyageur Academy (Detroit, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
