The Franklin Cougars walloped the host Chapin Huskies football team by a score of 41-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Conquistadores go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 41-7 non-league win over Montwood (El Paso, TX).

The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Troopers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Eastwood was ripped by St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA), 66-7, in a non-league challenge.
