The Mt. Morris Panthers football team (Mt. Morris, MI), was crushed 54-20 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Clio Mustangs (Clio, MI)

With the win, Clio advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Eastern (Lansing, MI) to encounter the Quakers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Eastern won 22-13 in their recent non-league bout against Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI)
