Texas High School Football - Cypress Ridge defeated by MacArthur

The MacArthur Generals were victorious over the host Cypress Ridge Rams football team by a score of 23-13 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Generals face the Channelview Falcons (Channelview, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 22-19 non-league loss to Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX).

With the defeat, Cypress Ridge drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Nimitz (Houston, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-0. Nimitz won 29-27 in their recent non-league test against Morton Ranch (Katy, TX)
