August 28, 2025: Jersey City, NJ 07302 Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad smash the host Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ), 48-6 in a non-league match.
The Crimson (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Poly Prep Country Day (Brooklyn, NY). The Blue Devils come into the Metropolitan Independent match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Poly Prep Country Day was routed by Frank J. Macchiarola (Brooklyn, NY), 34-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Belleville Buccaneers (Belleville, NJ) in a Super - Ivy White battle, on Friday, September 5. Ferris will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Buccaneers go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 31-0 non-league win over North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ).
