North Carolina High School Football - Fike sneaks past South Johnston

August 28, 2025: Four Oaks, NC 27524

The Fike Golden Demons football squad scored 20 points and limited the host South Johnston Trojans to 17 in the Golden Demons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Demons now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ayden - Grifton for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Fike will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 33-8 non-league win over North Pitt (Bethel, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, South Johnston drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Midway (Dunn, NC) to meet the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
