The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA) and the host Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), witnessed Norview's football squad edge Great Bridge by a tally of 25-20.

The Pilots (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Denbigh was tipped by Manor (Portsmouth, VA), 28-8, in a non-league bout.

The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Indian River for a Southeastern bout on Friday, September 12. Great Bridge will encounter a Braves team coming off a 55-0 non-league win over Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Braves record now stands at 1-0.
