Texas High School Football - Lamar can't hold off Plano West

The Plano West Wolves held off the host Lamar Vikings football squad by a count of 15-14 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wolves now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pearce for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Plano West will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 24-21 non-league win over Wylie (Wylie, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Lamar moves to 0-1 on the season. The Vikings host Sachse (Sachse, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Sachse lost 28-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Coppell (Coppell, TX)
