The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Liberty Bison (Winchester, CA) and the host Sultana Sultans (Hesperia, CA), witnessed Liberty's football team prevail over Sultana by a final score of 35-13.

With the win, Liberty advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bison host Hesperia (Hesperia, CA) to encounter the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 4. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Hesperia won 35-7 in their recent non-league contest against Jurupa Hills (Fontana, CA)

Coming up next, the Sultans battle the Victor Valley Jackrabbits (Victorville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 4. Sultana will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Jackrabbits enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 45-17 non-league win over Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV).
