The Minutemen now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Brevard HEAT for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 3. Cocoa Beach will clash with a Firehawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Non Freshman Opponent (, ). The Firehawks record now stands at 1-2.
