August 28, 2025: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) and the visiting Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), saw Hersey's flag football team nip Loyola Academy by a final score of 18-13.
With the win, Hersey advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Fremd (Palatine, IL) to encounter the Vikings in a bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Fremd won 46-6 in their recent league bout against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL)
The Ramblers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbrook North for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Loyola Academy will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 3-0.
