California High School Flag Football - Schurr thwarted by South Hills
August 28, 2025: Montebello, CA 90640 South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA), 25-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, South Hills upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Huskies host Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 3. The Grizzlies come into the match with a record of 4-4. Los Osos lost 28-0 in their recent non-league match against Covina (Covina, CA)
Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Warren Bears (Downey, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 3. Schurr will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Bears come into the match with a 4-9 record after their 18-12 non-league win over La Serna (Whittier, CA).
