Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Shamokin Area nudged by Berwick
August 28, 2025: Berwick, PA 18603 Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Berwick moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Wyoming Area won 9-0 in their recent non-league outing against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA)
Next up, the Indians confront the Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 3. Shamokin Area will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 10-0 league loss to Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA).
