Ohio High School Soccer - Lexington knocks off West Holmes
August 28, 2025: Lexington, OH 44904 Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting West Holmes Knights (Millersburg, OH), 6-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Lexington moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH) to clash with the Tygers in a Ohio Cardinal test on Thursday, September 4. The Tygers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Mansfield Senior lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Wooster (Wooster, OH)
The Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuscarawas Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. West Holmes will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Louisville (Louisville, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
