South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Tahoe improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to play the Greenwave in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. The Greenwave go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Churchill County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Truckee (Truckee, CA)

The Buckaroos (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Sparks (Sparks, NV). The Railroaders come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Sparks was overwhelmed by Fernley (Fernley, NV), 9-0, in a non-league game.
